Intake for a whole season — drag folders in, and the house reads every frame, names it, sorts it by kind and proposes which frames are the same garment from a different angle.

A collection is how a season becomes findable. Make a folder, drop in everything you have, flat lays and phone photographs and existing packshots and sub-folders and all, and the house reads every frame before asking you a single question.

Drag and drop: single files, a multi-selection, or whole folders. A rail of hanging clothes is a normal input, and so is a shop shelf. The house detects each piece in the frame rather than treating the photograph as one thing.

On arrival it does four things.

  1. Names each piece, and reads a SKU where one is visible.
  2. Sorts it by kind — clothes, accessory, jewelry, model or background.
  3. Proposes groups — this front and this back are the same shirt.
  4. Marks what is already done — pieces that do not need packshotting again.

Then it shows you the review sheet: name, SKU, kind and grouping, all editable in place. Nothing is filed until you approve it. The house proposes, you decide.

SKUs

With a SKU, in the filename or on a label in frame, matching is exact and grouping is near-certain. Without one the house matches on the garment itself, so walk the uncertain ones on the sheet rather than discovering them later in a live listing.

Do not wait for good photographs

A phone photograph of a garment on a hanger under a mixed light is enough to identify and file a piece. Get the record in on the day the box lands. Develop the good frames afterwards, once you know what you have.

Why order is the deliverable

An organised collection makes everything after it cheap. Packshots run as a batch because the house knows what is already shot. A lookbook pulls pieces by name instead of by hunting. A reshoot becomes a filter rather than an excavation.

Disorder compounds the other way. Every step downstream of a messy intake pays for it again.
